March is Women’s History Month, and here at Clover, that means a lot to us. We’re so proud to work with small businesses across the country and across the globe, and are elated that so many of our partners are women-owned businesses. While they are still a minority in the SMB world, a report from 2019 showed nearly 13 million businesses in the US are owned by women, representing over 9 million jobs for others, and more than $1.8 billion in revenue.

The same report cited above reported that women-owned businesses represent just over 20% of all businesses in the US, but that number is on the rise. We hope to see that number continue to grow in years to come, but right now, we want to honor the women in our workforce and in yours.

Our Meet the Merchant series, which we began in 2020, has been an incredible opportunity to learn more about the innovative and important businesses you are all running out there. To celebrate Women’s History Month, we wanted to amplify the powerful female voices we’ve published already so you can take another look. Remember to check back every Thursday for new merchant profiles on The Green.
